I am going to risk castraction by admitting that I don't like this album.
I love him as a producer but this one doesn't have the magic in it for me. His earlier stuff had perceptible, progressive and clever melodies that were uplifting despite being on the lo fi end of things.
Thanks for posting though. He's like Trentmoeller - I won't ever not listen to something he makes.. :)
I will spare your balls by saying that I somewhat agree with you. On the first couple of listens I wasn't that into it, a bit let down really. However after a few more listens it started to grow on me. But it still hasn't grown enough to meet my full expectations. I really like Butterfly Girl, great vibes!
