Also known as Maetrik for his darker techno releases, Maceo Plex's Life Index album has definitely been one of the soundtracks to my 2011. This is my favourite from the album. Better than Vibe Your Love I reckon.. Remixes came out today - one from him, one from my favourite lady producer of the moment

J3000 is an alias that I intend to start producing under. The idea is for it to be an outlet for my interest in electro, detroit techno, chicago/detroit/deep house and the spaces between all of these. J3000 is about joining the dots between them I guess and this mixtape is the first attempt at that.

Its a little different to the usual Techno Transmission stuff but the roots of this are Detroit Techno and early electro so its the same musical DNA. Hope you like
