Gut it Out?

Techno team-mates!

The Transmission Library on this page is full of stuff we love, and serves a noble cause. I listen to it all the time in my little studio flat, usually naked, and using a stretched-out sock to dry myself, in between my legs and under my balls.

However, it's no longer the fresh font of frequencies that we need it to be.
I vote we clean it out and start again - perhaps we leave just some of the more recent additions.
All new posts - please add to the Library player for us to sample.

If we get some OKs to this, then I'll take care of it.

If you do not want this to happen, then speak out.

  2. Thank you Ian, I need that. Completely hilarious.

I don't mind, but it all just falls down to the depths any way, so unless some strict new rules on not posting trailers of video games is applied, I'm not sure why this would be neccesary?

    Contro...

PS. This blog has changed my life, true story...

  3. no no... i was talking about the music player specifically... its full of good tunes... but it means we listen to the same ones every time. fresh start means we hear more new stuff.

  4. Ah mate, no doubt I was going to say the same thing.

I rather like when tunes are posted up rather than just added to the player though as you can bypass the FTP thing.

  10. I get what youre saying, but: is there any filing system we can set up so you can have minimal/maximal/house or whatever, then we dont have to lose all the tunes???

    PS: world cup!

  11. I think that's probably a good idea. I never had a problem with there being so much in the player really, I got to know way more music that way. But if we split them up a little then we could have more but be able to find sexy tracks for sexy moods and darker tracks for moodier times.

  13. what shall we do? i've been exploring some options. but nothing is perfect.
can you see the new header media player? it's something to showcase a new one, but ultimately pointless.
also check out the new Yahoo player... on the home page, look to the left hand side, a grey box pops out, and displays all the MP3 links on the page. you can press playlist and choose your tracks. it's nice but again, doesn't solve anything.
    views?

  14. I like the one at the top. It's arrogant. Has to be a slammer.

  15. i had to initialize DIRECT DOWNLOADS in FF in order for the Yahoo player to funktion. so now, if you right click a File factory link and open a new page - you will automatically start downloading your tune to your Hard drive. it's all a bit too direct, but it has to be that way (if you think the Yahoo player is worth keeping).

and, does this new yahoo player mean that we should put all old tunes back into the old Library player?

thoughts? what about the player at the top of the page - Tune of the week perhaps? or just get rid?

at the end of the day... any MP3 link that appears on the page will appear as a tune in the yahoo player.

will try not to fuck about with this anymore. but please send feedback, ideas etc....
