So some of you may know the German photographer Andreas Gursky, he's a pretty big deal. In 2007 one of his snaps was sold for $3.3 million which made it the worlds most expensive photo. Gursky is also good mates with Sven Vath and did a series of photos of Sven's club Cocoon
I was looking for a hi res version to stick at the top of TT. Unfortunately I failed, this was the best i could find....

The guy who took that photo in some exhibition also took some close ups of the crowd. As I'm looking at this one I start to see a few familiar faces!! er....is that Pip in his green shades Fillipe!!!.....Bally!!!......Bently!!.....Tally is that you?!!why are you wiping your nose Bently??? Bally what are you peering into? Is it something interesting in Phillip's hand??...Regard...

Bently maybe its about time you join this blog then you can give us a professional valuation of this photo, we could club together and buy a print.
Really Surreal!
ReplyDeleteSo there's a very valuable photograph of us partying and stuff on display in a gallery in Frankfurter. Amazing! I would've never have guessed that that awesome night, possibly the best clubbing experience of my life, would also become such an artistic piece. Very well spotted Culture!
