Matteo Manzini Mix

Whilst in Berlin we were staying in the same hotel as some 'ditch heads - one of which was Matteo Manzini - a tall Italian dude who plays tech(no) haus - he just sent me this mix of his (he runs a sunday after hours thing in east on Sundays) and is friends with the likes of Minus' Fabrizio Maurizi. At 44 mins he comes in with Marcel Dettman's lattice - especially for Slugster.

LCD REMIX

It’s fair to say that last time I posted a Tiga remix it wasn’t exactly a contender for ‘TechnoTransmission’s Most Popular Post of the Year Award’. But, and it’s largely on the strength of how much I like the vocal from the original, I hereby present Tiga’s new remix of LCD Soundsystem’s ‘I Can Change.’

(It’s a builder, with the second half of the tune delivering the goods. For me, anyway)…x

CLASSICAL INTERLUDE

It's not techno, but I it's mindblowingly emotive nonethesame.

There's some pretty awesome stuff on at the Proms this year - have I been able to go I would have loved to have got to this; I thoroughly recommend you have something to chill you out and space you out a bit, get into a dangerously warm bath and wade through this 2.5 hour spesh. Watching is worth it as well - the crazy Russian piano-soloist for the Prokofiev piece is worth a look at - nutcase.

There was also a little recital of Chopin's nocturnes that was more relaxing than Xanax, but I can't find it on iPlayer any more...

Hurry! Only there for a very short while!
