Carnival Mix (Looking Sound)

Hello Friends,

After a week of relative inactivity here at DJH HQ, it seemed fitting to create something for people to play at the many house parties and gatherings across London on the most exciting weekend of the year; Notting Hill Carnival.

This mix is also going to be used for an art installation my friend Rob Adlington is creating in Brighton called Looking Sound. When he renders the visuals I will upload the finished piece.

Ok guys I have been listening to have been abcent for a while and sorry cos I have been busy working. So I tought I would mark my return with a dark one from Pig & Dan.

It reminds of a dark journey through some fucked up racecourse. The beat is heavy enough that breaks on 2 mins or so but its the race sound that I like that brings the tune together.

TT goes premium on FF, again.

I noticed we regressed back to basic on our Filefactory account; TT homepage wasn't streaming tunes directly, slower d-loads, popup ads, etc. Not very cool. So I decided to purchase us 180 days worth of premium for 22squids.
To celebrate this, again, I'm posting one of my favourites of '09. Those of yous at exit last year will remember Justin Martin and Heidi dropping this beautiful bomb with a vocal not to forget. It was only by pure chance that I managed to come across the tune a month or so after that unforgettable night.
