The Modern Deep Left Quartet

The Modern Deep Left Quartet, aka 'Cobblestone Jazz + a new member' are on the line up later this month at Fabric, with a LIVE show in Room 1 (same night as Ricardo. Say no more).

They had a single out a while back, called Traffic Jam, that didn't make the album in the end (as it was a bit different). Nevertheless, I've included it in this zip file as it is so tasty.

If you prefer to flirt a bit before you immerse, then I suggest you check out Cromagnon Man, with the robo-techno vocal, or indeed Traffic Jam, with it's big, bold erection synths.

This album actually had some pretty mediocre reviews, but I'm liking it a lot so far. Thoughts?

Collected Turmstrasse

This is a request - could someone who has the software and likes knocking up quick mixes, throw together a set using all the Kollectiv Turmstrasse tracks that we have sessioned/that are good? I think that the mix would would be suitable for multi-purpose listening and would high-dive into some deep-end business. x

Matteo Manzini Mix

Whilst in Berlin we were staying in the same hotel as some 'ditch heads - one of which was Matteo Manzini - a tall Italian dude who plays tech(no) haus - he just sent me this mix of his (he runs a sunday after hours thing in east on Sundays) and is friends with the likes of Minus' Fabrizio Maurizi. At 44 mins he comes in with Marcel Dettman's lattice - especially for Slugster.
